Dhurandhar smashes records with ₹34.70 crore on second Friday

The Ranveer Singh-starrer Dhurandhar has continued its unstoppable run at the box office, setting a new benchmark for Hindi films on a second Friday. The film raked in ₹34.70 crore net in India on December 12 , surpassing the previous record of ₹27.50 crore held by Pushpa 2 Hindi . With this, its eight-day total now stands at ₹252.70 crore .

Ticketing platform BookMyShow reported sales of 837,000 tickets on December 12 alone , surpassing even its opening-day numbers. The film has also made waves overseas, breaking records in North America with over $830,000 in earnings.

Directed by Aditya Dhar , Dhurandhar features a powerhouse ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and R. Madhavan . The true-events thriller has resonated strongly with audiences, boasting a 9.2/10 rating from over 120,000 votes .

With its box-office streak continuing, Dhurandhar is firmly on track to join the league of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year.
