Celebrating the formation day of the Congress Party, a grand event was held in Madhira town, Khammam district, where Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka officially hoisted the party flag. Party leaders, elected representatives, and hundreds of supporters attended the event, making it a major success.

During the event, Deputy CM Bhatti highlighted the historic role of the Congress Party in India’s freedom struggle. He noted that the party has consistently guided the nation’s development by upholding fundamental values such as democracy, social justice, and equality. He emphasized that the sacrifices made by the party for citizens’ rights and welfare are recorded in golden letters in the country’s history.

He further stated that the current Congress government continues to follow these principles, focusing on public welfare, the protection of democratic values, and the upliftment of marginalized communities. Government programs aimed at improving the lives of the poor and underprivileged are actively being implemented.

In a key development for Madhira, Deputy CM Bhatti laid the foundation for a new municipal office building, estimated to cost around ₹3 crore. He said the new facility will provide better administrative services and faster public access.

“The government’s main goal is to make local governance more accessible, transparent, and efficient,” he said. “This new municipal building marks an important step toward comprehensive development for Madhira town.”
