Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has called on Congress leaders and workers to intensify graduate voter registration and work collectively to secure a landslide victory for party candidate Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy in the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduate MLC elections.

Addressing a preparatory meeting organised by the Khammam District Congress Committee at SR Function Hall in Khammam, Bhatti urged party cadres to treat voter registration as a mass campaign. He directed leaders to conduct meetings at the district level, followed by gatherings in five Assembly constituencies and subsequently at mandal and village levels.

He proposed appointing a senior leader as in-charge for each constituency and stressed coordination among party leaders and grassroots workers. Congress cadres were asked to identify eligible graduates in party-supporting families, ensure their registration and win the support of neutral voters.

Bhatti also instructed workers to explain the benefits of government welfare schemes through door-to-door campaigns and pamphlets. He said fine rice was being distributed to 3.42 crore people, while around 72 lakh farmers were receiving Rythu Bharosa assistance. Under Gruha Jyothi, approximately 53 lakh households were getting free electricity up to 200 units monthly. Free power was also being supplied to nearly 30 lakh agricultural pump sets, and 43 lakh people were receiving Cheyutha pensions.

He highlighted Rajiv Aarogyasri coverage of up to Rs 10 lakh per family and fee reimbursement for around 12.5 lakh students. Government schools were providing breakfast, milk and ragi malt to 27 lakh students, he said.

Under the Indiramma housing scheme, the government was providing Rs 5 lakh per house for 4.5 lakh houses in the first phase and planning another 2.5 lakh houses in the second phase. Construction of one lakh houses was also being taken up in Hyderabad. The proposed Indiramma Bima initiative aims to provide Rs 5 lakh in insurance assistance to families following the accidental death of their earning member.

Bhatti urged every worker to take responsibility for Sarvotham Reddy's victory and remain active from voter registration through polling day.

The meeting was chaired by DCC president Nuthi Satyanarayana Goud. Ministers Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and Tummala Nageswara Rao, along with MLAs Ramdas Naik, Matta Ragamayee and Koram Kanakaiah, attended.
