Delhi Police Bust Two Modules of Shahzad Bhatti Network, Six Arrested
The Delhi Police Special Cell on Monday said it has busted two separate modules linked to the Shahzad Bhatti network and arrested six individuals from Delhi and Punjab , officials said.
Police also recovered petrol bombs and illegal pistols during the operation, indicating the presence of explosive and arms stockpiles , they added.
According to officials, the accused were operating through two distinct networks —one allegedly connected to terror-related activities and another involved in illegal arms trafficking . Preliminary findings suggest the modules were functioning in an organised manner , pointing to a wider and coordinated structure.
Investigators suspect the network may have inter-state linkages , with possible connections extending across multiple regions. However, officials said the probe is still in its initial stage , and further details will emerge after sustained interrogation and forensic analysis.
The Special Cell has launched efforts to trace the supply chain , funding routes, and other associates linked to the network.
Further investigation is underway, police said.
