Delhi Govt unveils ‘School Web App’ for smarter education

The Delhi government on Friday launched the ‘School Web App’, a digital platform designed to modernise education and streamline administrative functions across its schools.

Education Minister Ashish Sood, while unveiling the initiative, said it supports the Digital India and Viksit Bharat 2047 visions, aiming to make the education system smarter, transparent, and more accessible.

The app offers students, teachers, and parents a single integrated platform for academic and administrative needs. It provides easy access to timetables, homework, notes, attendance records, and exam results, ensuring that parents can stay informed about their child’s progress in real time.

Sood said the platform will reduce teachers’ administrative workload, enhance time management, and promote better learning outcomes. “Now, information will reach students directly. This is the essence of true digital empowerment,” he added.

Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the initiative also supports skill-based learning and integrates activities under the Fit India campaign. Expressing gratitude to all stakeholders, Sood said the app marks “a milestone towards a brighter, digitally empowered future for Delhi’s students.”
