Deepika Padukone to star opposite Shah Rukh Khan in King

After opting out of two big projects, Kalki 2898 AD and Spirit , Deepika Padukone has now signed on to star in Siddharth Anand’s much-awaited action drama King alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

The film marks the sixth collaboration between the superstar duo, who have delivered several blockbusters together. Their journey began with the 2007 hit Om Shanti Om , which also marked Deepika’s debut. They later reunited in Chennai Express (2013), Happy New Year (2014), Pathaan (2023), and Jawan (2023).

Their remarkable on-screen chemistry and consistent box-office success have cemented them as one of Bollywood’s most beloved pairs. With King , directed by action specialist Siddharth Anand, fans can expect another high-voltage entertainer that blends style, action, and star power.
