December 25 Is the Last Date to Apply for 400 RITES Assistant Manager Posts

Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES), a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has released an official notification inviting online applications for the recruitment of 400 Assistant Manager posts across multiple engineering disciplines. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website www.rites.com. The online application process commenced on November 26, 2025, and will close on December 25, 2025.

The recruitment drive aims to fill Assistant Manager vacancies in disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal and Telecommunication (S&T), Metallurgy, Chemical, Information Technology (IT), Food Technology, and Pharma. Of the total vacancies, Mechanical (150 posts) and Civil Engineering (120 posts) account for the largest share, followed by Electrical (55), Metallurgy (26), IT (14), Food Technology (12), Chemical (11), S&T (10), and Pharma (2). The detailed category-wise breakup for UR, OBC, SC, ST and EWS candidates has been provided in the official notification.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s degree in the relevant Engineering or Technology discipline from a recognised university or institution. In addition, applicants are required to have a minimum of two years of post-qualification professional experience in the relevant field.

The upper age limit has been fixed at 40 years, calculated as on December 25, 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen, in accordance with Government of India norms. Only Indian nationals, or those eligible as per the conditions specified in the notification, are permitted to apply.

Selected candidates will be appointed at a basic pay of ₹23,340 per month, along with applicable allowances. The gross monthly cost-to-company (CTC) is approximately ₹42,478, as stated in the notification.

The selection process is expected to include a written examination or online test, followed by an interview and document verification. Candidates have been advised to refer to the official notification for exact details regarding the examination pattern, weightage, and qualifying criteria.

An application fee of ₹600 plus applicable taxes has been prescribed for General and OBC candidates , while SC, ST, PwD, and women candidates are required to pay ₹300 plus taxes . The fee must be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

To apply, candidates must visit the RITES website, access the Assistant Manager Recruitment 2025 notification, complete the registration process, fill in the online application form, upload the required documents, and submit the application after successful payment of fees. Applicants are advised to retain a printed copy of the submitted form for future reference.
