Darkness, Sukuna and Chaos: Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Teaser Has Fans Hyped

Jujutsu Kaisen fans were treated to a major Season 4 reveal as the anime franchise celebrated its fifth anniversary at Juju Fest 2026 at K-Arena Yokohama. The event unveiled a striking new teaser visual for the upcoming season, intensifying anticipation for the next chapter of the Culling Game.

The newly released artwork prominently features Ryomen Sukuna surrounded by swirling darkness, alongside a colourful collage of Yuji Itadori and several other key characters. The dramatic visual has quickly become a talking point among fans, with many praising its artwork and the ominous atmosphere surrounding Sukuna.

Season 4 has been officially titled “The Culling Game Part 2” and is currently in production at Studio MAPPA. The announcement follows the conclusion of Season 3, which adapted the first portion of the Culling Game and left several major storylines unresolved.

The upcoming season is expected to cover some of the manga's most anticipated confrontations. Among them are Kinji Hakari’s battle with Hajime Kashimo, Maki Zen’in’s continued evolution as a fighter, and the confrontation involving Yuki Tsukumo, Choso and Kenjaku. Yuta Okkotsu’s storyline following his battles in Sendai Colony is also expected to remain central to the narrative.

The Culling Game continues to place Yuji and his allies in a deadly battle orchestrated by Kenjaku. As the players fight across different colonies, the protagonists pursue their own objectives, including finding a way to free Satoru Gojo and dealing with the growing threat posed by Sukuna.

MAPPA has confirmed that Takeru Sato will direct Season 4, with Shota Goshozono serving as chief director. However, the studio has not yet announced an official release date for the new season.

With the manga storyline already complete, expectations are high for MAPPA’s adaptation of the remaining material. The latest Sukuna-focused visual has further fuelled speculation and excitement, with fans now eagerly awaiting additional footage, character reveals and a release window for Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 2.
