Countdown Ends: Class 10 Annual Exams Begins Today

The Telangana School Education Department has completed preparations for the Class 10 (SSC) annual examinations , which begin today and will continue until April 16 .

Around 5.17 lakh students will appear for the exams across 2,676 centres set up statewide. Officials said strict measures have been implemented to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.

The exams will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm under CCTV surveillance . Students must reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes early , and entry will not be allowed if they are late even by five minutes . Authorities have also advised students to take necessary precautions due to the summer heat.

Meanwhile, Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla extended his best wishes to the students. He encouraged them to stay confident, remain calm, and view the exams as an opportunity to showcase their learning. He also appreciated the support of parents and teachers and wished all students success.
