Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar Threatens Kejriwal, Jain With 3 More ‘Scam’ Exposures From Jail

Jailed conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar has reignited his long-running confrontation with Aam Aadmi Party leaders, warning former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and former minister Satyendar Jain that he will expose three more alleged “scams” involving other key departments.

In a letter from jail on Thursday, Chandrasekhar claimed that his earlier allegations had been “vindicated”, pointing first to the Delhi excise policy case and then to the Delhi Jal Board. He said three more alleged corruption cases were “loading”, but gave no names, documents or details of the departments involved.

The timing of his reference to the Jal Board is notable. Jain was arrested on August 18 by the Delhi Anti-Corruption Branch in a case concerning alleged irregularities in sewage-treatment-plant tenders, and a court sent him and four others to 14 days’ judicial custody on August 19.

However, the Jal Board investigation did not begin with Sukesh’s latest allegations. The ACB case dates to May 2024, while the Enforcement Directorate has separately investigated alleged irregularities in four STP tenders worth about ₹1,943 crore. The ED has alleged manipulation of tender conditions, illegal commissions and a money trail linked to the contracts.

That distinction matters because Sukesh’s claim of being “vindicated” is his own assertion, not a judicial finding that his earlier allegations caused or established the Jal Board case.

His reference to the excise-policy case is similarly complicated. A Delhi trial court discharged Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and others in February 2026, but the CBI challenged that decision. Kejriwal and Sisodia have now approached the Delhi High Court seeking dismissal of the CBI challenge.

Sukesh has made allegations against AAP leaders since 2022, including claims of payments to Jain and alleged political dealings with AAP. A Delhi government-appointed committee examined his allegations that year and recommended a specialised-agency probe, but that did not amount to a finding that his claims were true.

For now, the biggest unanswered question is what the three new alleged scams actually are. Sukesh has named no departments, transactions or evidence. Neither Kejriwal nor Jain has publicly responded specifically to this latest warning in the reports available so far.

That leaves the latest letter less as a revelation than a political threat awaiting proof. Until Sukesh produces documents or agencies independently corroborate his claims, the alleged three scandals remain allegations, not established cases.
