Minister Vivek Venkataswamy expressed his disappointment over the previous BRS government, stating that during its tenure, development was limited merely to foundation-laying ceremonies. He announced that the Congress party will raise its flag in the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election.

Speaking at the 96th birth anniversary celebrations of the late leader Venkataswamy, he addressed the Jubilee Hills constituency by-election, criticizing the BRS government for failing to implement projects despite announcing their launch. “Though they declared numerous projects, BRS completely failed in executing them,” he said.

However, Minister Vivek Venkataswamy highlighted that under the Congress government, extraordinary development has been achieved in the Jubilee Hills constituency in just two years. He explained that the people’s government undertook quality development work rapidly, completing many projects that were neglected previously and demonstrating honest governance.

The minister emphasized, “The development that the BRS government couldn’t achieve in years, our government accomplished in just two years. This reflects our progressive thinking and commitment to the people.” He added that with public support and trust, the Congress party is set to achieve success. “In the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election, the Congress party flag will certainly be raised. People value development, not mere words—they care about results,” he said.

Vivek Venkataswamy noted that significant changes have occurred in the lives of citizens. The Congress government has acted promptly in improving roads, colony infrastructure, drainage, sewage systems, and construction of permanent houses. Special focus has been given to the development of slum areas, providing people-centric governance that has earned their trust.
