Congress Aims for Resounding Win in Municipal Polls: Minister Jupalli

Expressing confidence in the party’s prospects, State Minister for Excise and Tourism, Jupalli Krishna Rao, said the Congress Party is set to achieve a remarkable victory in the upcoming municipal elections . He spoke at a meeting of key Congress leaders and workers from Chennur and Kyathanapalli municipalities held in Ramakrishnapur, Manchiryal district, where he outlined election strategies to party members.

The minister expressed certainty that Congress candidates would secure resounding victories in the municipal polls scheduled for February 11 . He predicted a clean sweep of all 10 municipalities within the Peddapalli parliamentary constituency and said the party is expected to win at least 75 percent of ward member seats .

Regarding ticket distribution, Jupalli emphasized that priority would be given to those who have strengthened the party and enjoy public support . He reassured hopeful candidates who may not receive tickets that every party worker who has worked sincerely will be recognized at the right time . He added that suitable positions will be provided to all in the coming days .

Welfare Amid Financial Challenges

Despite the state facing severe financial difficulties , the minister highlighted that the government’s achievements include continuing previous welfare schemes while implementing the “Six Guarantees” program . He urged party workers to take Congress-led development and welfare initiatives to every doorstep and advised them to educate the public about the massive debts, corruption, and irregularities of the previous BRS government . He stated that people understand the Congress government’s decisions aimed at improving living standards .

Looking ahead, Jupalli expressed confidence that the Congress government would remain in power not only for the next three years but for the following five years as well . He called on party cadres to work collectively to ensure the success of Congress candidates in the municipal elections.
