
Comprehensive security for Srivari brahmotsavams
T irupati Superintendent of Police (SP) Subbarayudu has announced that all security arrangements for the Srivari Brahmotsavams have been finalized. He stated that special measures have been implemented to address previous security lapses and ensure a safe and smooth experience for devotees.
A total of 4,000 police personnel will be deployed, with 3,000 in Tirumala and 1,000 in Tirupati. The event will be monitored through 4,000 CCTV cameras and an additional 1,500 vigilance personnel. Allied departments, including Octopus and NDRF forces, will also be on continuous security duty. Food and drinking water will be distributed continuously to devotees waiting for darshan.
To prevent congestion, two-wheelers will be restricted on the Tirumala ghat roads on the day of Garuda Seva. Devotees are advised to use RTC buses. Five designated parking areas have been set up in Tirupati. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chief Security Officer Muralikrishna confirmed that the surveillance system will operate without any flaws, ensuring the continuous safety of all attendees.
