Cockroach Janata Party Crawls Into NEET Row, Demands Dharmendra Pradhan Quit Over Paper Leak

Having already shaken the internet, the Cockroach Janata Party is now shaking the establishment. The satirical collective, which we reported had bounced back defiantly after its original X handle was withheld in India, wasted no time on Friday in announcing its first concrete political demand: the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan .

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke launched the campaign through a video statement, urging followers to sign an online petition and build public pressure on the government. The move comes on the back of the NEET UG 2026 controversy , which has affected nearly 22 lakh medical aspirants across India and triggered protests, legal challenges, and political criticism over alleged question paper leaks and concerns about the integrity of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The petition states that the education system is compromised, citing the tragic loss of students who died by suicide and the large number of careers disrupted by paper leaks, arguing that there must be accountability. Dipke framed it not as an isolated exam scandal but as a structural failure of the system itself. The NEET controversy had earlier prompted intervention by the Supreme Court , while opposition parties and student organisations also questioned the functioning of the NTA. The CBI is probing the matter, with a re-test now scheduled for June 21 .

There was no immediate response from the Ministry of Education or the minister’s office regarding the campaign. Meanwhile, Dipke disclosed that he has begun receiving death threats, saying the pressure campaign has made him a target.

On Instagram, the CJP now commands over 2.05 crore followers, ahead of the BJP’s 91 lakh and Congress’s 1.34 crore on the same platform. Dipke’s resignation demand video crossed 12 million views within an hour of going live, highlighting how quickly this digital movement is converting online momentum into political attention. For a party that describes itself as the voice of those the system forgot to count, it is becoming increasingly hard to ignore.
