Coalition Govt Committed to Better Healthcare Access: MLA

The coalition government is working with a clear focus on strengthening public healthcare , improving rural infrastructure , and ensuring balanced development across villages, said Anam Ramanarayana Reddy while launching a series of welfare and development initiatives in Chiramana village of AS Peta mandal in Nellore district on Saturday.

The Atmakur MLA, along with Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy and Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, inaugurated multiple projects aimed at enhancing connectivity , sanitation , and the overall quality of life in the village.

As part of the development push, the leaders laid the foundation stone for lake development works estimated at ₹50 lakh. They also inaugurated seven newly constructed cement roads built at a cost of ₹32 lakh. Addressing villagers, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said the government remains committed to transforming rural areas through better amenities , stronger infrastructure, and long-term sustainable development .

The leaders also highlighted the government’s emphasis on accessible healthcare services in rural regions. They inaugurated the “VPR Netra” free eye-care camp organised by the VPR Foundation, which aims to provide free eye screenings and treatment for economically weaker sections.

Describing the initiative as a meaningful community welfare programme, the public representatives said the camp would help bring specialised medical services directly to villagers. Free eye examinations and spectacles were provided to beneficiaries during the event.

The leaders further announced plans to conduct similar large-scale medical camps across all gram panchayats in the constituency with the support of experienced medical specialists . Calling upon residents to utilise the services, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said timely healthcare and improved civic infrastructure are essential for building healthier and more prosperous rural communities.

Local officials, community leaders, and a large number of villagers participated in the programme.
