Coalition Government focused on Public welfare, says Minister Kollu Ravindra

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Mines, Geology & Groundwater Resources, and Excise, Kollu Ravindra, reiterated that the coalition government is committed to serving the people as a true democratic administration. Speaking at a public grievance meeting held on Friday near the Brindavan Theatre at the constituency TDP office, he personally received petitions from citizens.

Minister Ravindra assured the public that he would take responsibility for addressing their concerns and that all petitions would be forwarded to the relevant authorities for prompt action. He emphasized that public grievance meetings are held weekly to ensure citizens’ issues are addressed in a timely manner.

During the session, approximately 110 petitions were submitted, the majority relating to housing issues and pension schemes. The minister urged citizens to make proper use of the forum to raise their concerns.

Referring to the recent Montha cyclone, Minister Ravindra said the government had acted swiftly to prevent loss of life. Damage in both rural and urban areas—including fallen trees, damaged electric poles, and transformers—was quickly repaired, and power supply was restored. He highlighted that the administration’s systems are being strengthened to provide timely support whenever the public faces difficulties.

The meeting was attended by prominent local leaders, including Machilipatnam Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Kunche Durgaprasad (Nani), former Municipal Chairman Motamarri Baba Prasad, former District Library Committee Chairman Gorrepati Gopichand, former MPP Kagit Venkateswararao, and former ZPTC member Lanke Narayan Prasad.
