CM Revanth urges swift implementation of Telangana Rising 2047 Vision

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has stressed the need for all government departments to work in coordination and with efficiency to achieve the goals outlined in the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision. He instructed senior officials to immediately translate each aspect of the vision into actionable plans.

Speaking at a meeting with senior bureaucrats at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat, CM Revanth Reddy highlighted that the Telangana Rising Vision Document, released during the recent Telangana Rising Global Summit, serves as a roadmap for the state’s development and is not merely a promotional document. He urged all departments to prepare clear action plans for implementing development initiatives within their respective sectors.

The vision document, released on December 9, sets a target to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by 2047. The CM underlined that officials’ performance would be critical to achieving this goal, warning that negligence would invite strict action. He also said the government will regularly review the performance of department secretaries, who must submit monthly progress reports to Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao.

CM Revanth Reddy directed IAS officers to conduct field visits every 10 days to monitor the progress of development projects. He emphasized that senior officials must take full responsibility and accountability for their work. By January 31, he instructed all government departments to implement complete e-filing systems, eliminating reliance on paper files and ensuring all processes move online.

Highlighting that around 1 million employees work across regular, contract, and outsourced positions in government departments and affiliated bodies, the CM asked officials to submit a comprehensive list of all employees to the Chief Secretary by January 26. He further instructed that government offices, both in Hyderabad and across the state, should vacate rented premises by the same date and move into available government buildings. Where government facilities are insufficient, officials should identify empty spaces and prepare estimates for constructing new offices.

CM Revanth Reddy also emphasized that funds under central government schemes must be used efficiently and reviewed the actual impact of investments in the state. He called on officials to work with dedication to translate the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision into reality.
