To raise public awareness about the upcoming competitions, a ten-day torch rally will be held from January 8 to 17. The rally will travel through villages and towns, inspiring both youth and athletes to participate enthusiastically.
According to the schedule, village-level competitions will take place from January 17 to 22, followed by mandal-level contests from January 28 to 31. Constituency-level events are planned from February 3 to 7, district-level competitions from February 10 to 14, and the state-level finals from February 19 to 26. Originally, these tournaments were scheduled for December, but they were postponed due to various reasons.
A total of 44 sports disciplines will be contested at all levels, organized under the Telangana State Sports Authority (TSATS). The initiative aims to identify talented athletes and provide them with greater opportunities to develop and excel.
