On Saturday, he, along with Endowments Minister Konda Surekha and senior officials, reviewed the master plan development of Basara Sri Gnana Saraswati Temple in Nirmal district.

The CM advised that, similar to the Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Temple , rules should be framed to prohibit political speeches, rallies, or any political activity in all major temple premises across Telangana. Emphasising the importance of crowd management, he directed the construction of wide roads around temples and that only electric vehicles (EVs) be allowed within temple complexes. He called for stricter regulations to preserve the spiritual sanctity and holiness of temples.

He added that the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu would be celebrated with grandeur akin to Kumbh Mela , and the government has finalized detailed preparations for the event.

Ahead of the CM’s visit, routes and sites for foundation stone laying ceremonies were inspected by the ministers along with District Collector Abhilash Abhinav and SP Janaki Sharmila , with strict instructions to ensure arrangements are flawless.
