CM Revanth Reddy to Inaugurate New Karimnagar Collectorate Today

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to visit Karimnagar today to inaugurate the newly constructed Karimnagar District Integrated Collectorate building. Ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar reviewed the arrangements on Tuesday and directed officials to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed smoothly.

During the review meeting, Ponnam Prabhakar interacted with MLAs, elected representatives and senior district officials and assessed the arrangements being made for the Chief Minister’s programme. He instructed officials to give special attention to the appearance and cleanliness of the new Collectorate premises. The building is to be decorated with flowers, while the surrounding areas should be kept clean and properly maintained.

The minister also reviewed parking, security and crowd-management arrangements, stressing that people attending the programme should not face inconvenience. Officials were asked to make adequate arrangements for the movement and parking of vehicles and ensure proper security throughout the Chief Minister’s visit. Ponnam later inspected the helipad and issued additional instructions to the officials concerned.

The Chief Minister’s programme will include the unveiling of the Telangana Talli statue in front of the newly constructed Collectorate building. Revanth Reddy will then formally inaugurate the Integrated Collectorate. According to Ponnam Prabhakar, the Chief Minister will also participate in special prayers at the Collector’s chamber following the inauguration.

As part of the formal proceedings, Revanth Reddy will seat the district Collector in the designated chair, marking the official commencement of administrative operations from the new building. The programme is intended to mark the transition of district administration to the newly constructed integrated facility.

Later, the Chief Minister will hold a review meeting on the comprehensive development of Karimnagar district at the Collectorate conference hall. Senior district officials will brief him on development activities and key priorities, while various projects are expected to receive attention during the meeting.

The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stones for several proposed development initiatives, including Telangana Public Schools, the Urban Challenge Fund and urban development works. These projects are part of the broader development agenda for the district.

The visit will conclude with Revanth Reddy receiving petitions and representations from public representatives and members of the public. Officials have been instructed to ensure that the programme is conducted in an orderly manner and that necessary arrangements are in place at all venues.
