CM Revanth Reddy Lays Foundation For Major Yadadri Projects, Vows Tirumala-Style Development

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday launched a series of major development projects at the renowned Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district , including the construction of what is being described as the largest Vedic school complex in Telangana at an estimated cost of Rs.99.55 crore .

The Chief Minister, accompanied by ministers and public representatives, first offered prayers at the temple and participated in special rituals before taking part in the foundation stone-laying ceremony.

The programme was held in the divine presence of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham seer Jagadguru Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamy , under whose blessings the projects were formally inaugurated. The state government said the initiatives are part of a broader vision to transform Yadagirigutta Temple City on the lines of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) model.

A key highlight of the initiative is the proposed Vedic educational complex , which will be developed across 15 acres at a cost of Rs.43.80 crore . The institution will provide traditional gurukul-style Vedic education with residential facilities for around 300 students . The campus will also include dedicated halls for conducting homams and yagnas , along with a goshala .

In addition, the government will construct dormitory halls and accommodation facilities for devotees and pilgrims at a cost of Rs.43.12 crore . A massive Kalyana Mandapam for conducting daily celestial wedding rituals will also be built with an outlay of Rs.9.87 crore .

To improve pilgrim convenience, the state has sanctioned Rs.1.41 crore for a protective roofing structure along the stairway route from the Vaikuntha Dwaram to the hill shrine. Another Rs.1.35 crore will be spent on constructing new connecting steps linked to the temple’s mada streets.

Following the temple visit, the Chief Minister received blessings from the Kanchi seer, while temple priests offered Vedic benedictions to him.

Among those present at the event were Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy , ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy , Konda Surekha , and Adluri Laxman Kumar , MPs Vem Narender Reddy and Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy , besides several MLAs, MLCs and senior officials.
