CM Revanth Reddy Felicitates Asian Gold Medallist Sai Pravallika, NEET Achievers from Telangana Gurukuls

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy felicitated Sai Pravallika , a member of India’s gold medal-winning relay team at the Asian Under-23 Athletics Championships 2026 , and outstanding NEET rankers from Telangana’s Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions , at a meeting held at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute (MCRHRD) in Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister lauded Sai Pravallika for her contribution to India’s triumph in the women’s 4x400 metres relay event at the inaugural Asian U-23 Championships held in Ordos, China . The relay team not only secured the gold medal but also created a new record, bringing pride to both Telangana and the nation. Revanth Reddy personally congratulated the young athlete and wished her greater success in future international competitions.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister also praised a group of students from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) who secured excellent ranks in the recently declared NEET 2026 results. He noted that the students achieved remarkable success despite not undergoing corporate coaching, describing their performance as proof of the quality of education being imparted in the state-run residential institutions.

Revanth Reddy said the accomplishments of the students and the athlete reflected the potential of Telangana’s youth when provided with the right opportunities and support. He commended their hard work, dedication and perseverance, adding that their achievements would inspire thousands of other students and sportspersons across the state.

Assuring the students of continued government support, the Chief Minister said Telangana would stand by talented youth in pursuing higher education, professional careers and excellence in sports.

The meeting was attended by Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar , SC Development Department Principal Secretary Vijyendra Boi , and other senior officials.
