CM Revanth Reddy Begins Two-Day Kodangal Tour to Review Projects
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will embark on a two-day visit to Kodangal in Vikarabad district on July 21 and 22 to review the progress of the state's flagship Education Hub and monitor the implementation of key development initiatives in his Assembly constituency.
According to the official schedule, the Chief Minister will inspect the ongoing construction of the Education Hub at Hakimpet village on Monday evening. The project is a cornerstone of the Telangana government's vision to transform Kodangal into a major centre for higher education, skill development and innovation. Following the site inspection, Revanth Reddy will hold a review meeting with senior officials to assess the progress of infrastructure projects and other welfare and development works underway across the constituency. He will stay overnight in Kodangal.
On July 22, the Chief Minister is scheduled to interact with Congress Party leaders and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) regarding the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The meeting is expected to focus on ensuring an accurate and comprehensive voter list ahead of future elections. After the discussions, he will return to Hyderabad.
The visit comes as the state government pushes ahead with its ambitious plan to reposition Kodangal, once regarded as a relatively underdeveloped region, as a hub for education, industry and employment. During the launch of the initiative earlier this year, Revanth Reddy announced that the constituency would house a network of premier educational institutions designed to attract students from across Telangana and neighbouring states.
The proposed Education Hub will include medical, engineering, nursing and polytechnic colleges, besides an Advanced Technology Centre and a Sainik School. The integrated campus is expected to strengthen higher education infrastructure, promote industry-oriented skills and improve employment opportunities for local youth.
Officials have indicated that construction of the Education Hub is progressing on schedule, with the major facilities expected to be completed within the next 18 months. The project forms part of the government's broader strategy to drive balanced regional development by combining educational infrastructure with industrial growth and improved public amenities in Kodangal.
