CM Revanth pledges full support for film industry

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced that the state government is fully committed to supporting the growth of the film industry by providing all the modern facilities needed for its development. He highlighted plans to set up state-of-the-art studios in the proposed Bharat Future City near Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, with special incentives and support for filmmakers.

The announcement came during the second day of the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, in a session titled “Creative Century: The Future of Entertainment,” where leading figures from the film industry shared their suggestions and insights. Following the discussion, they held a special meeting with the Chief Minister.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju, as well as prominent producers and actors from Tollywood and Bollywood, including Chiranjeevi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Subhash Ghai, Allu Aravind, Suresh Babu, Genelia Deshmukh, Amala Akkineni, Anirudh Roy Chaudhary, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Zoya Akhtar, and Chunky Pandey.

Chief Minister Reddy assured that government support would be streamlined through a single-window system, enabling film crews relying on scripts and government backing to complete productions smoothly. The state aims to provide a conducive environment for filmmaking along with world-class infrastructure.

Additionally, the Chief Minister instructed officials to explore professional training opportunities for the film industry in 24 specialized crafts at the Young India Skills University, being set up in Future City, to meet the sector’s evolving needs.
