CM Revanth invited to participate in Shaheedi Gurpurab celebrations

The Punjab government has formally invited Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to participate in the upcoming Shaheedi Gurpurab, a sacred festival commemorating the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.

Punjab Ministers Sanjeev Arora (Industries) and Gurmeet Khuddiyan (Agriculture) met CM Revanth Reddy on Friday at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. During the meeting, they highlighted the historical significance of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, his sacrifices, and the importance of Shaheedi Gurpurab celebrations. They extended a cordial invitation to the Chief Minister to attend the 350th anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom next month.

The ministers emphasized that CM Revanth Reddy’s presence would promote cultural and religious harmony across India. The meeting was also attended by Telangana Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, MLA Donthi Madhav Reddy, and MP Raghuveer Reddy.

Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, is remembered for his unwavering courage and commitment to justice. He sacrificed his life in 1675 to protect religious freedom, standing against forced conversions and tyranny. His teachings emphasize compassion, bravery, and defense of human rights, and his legacy continues to inspire millions across India and the world.

Shaheedi Gurpurab is observed with deep devotion by Sikhs nationwide, celebrating the selfless sacrifices of the Guru. Punjab’s invitation to the Telangana Chief Minister reflects the shared cultural heritage and brotherly relations between the two states.
