CM Revanth Claims SPCA Website & Logo Launch — But Where’s the Site?

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced the launch of the State Police Complaints Authority (SPCA) website and logo at the Secretariat, calling it a step towards transparency and accountability in policing.

The event, attended by senior officials including Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, DGP M. Sivadhar Reddy, and SPCA Chairman Justice Shiv Shankar Rao (Retd.), was projected as a major reform milestone.

However, hours after the announcement, citizens and media tried searching for the new SPCA website but it seems to be missing or not yet live. No functional link or portal was accessible on the official Telangana government or Home Department pages.

If indeed launched, the site is expected to help citizens lodge complaints against police misconduct online. But for now, the SPCA remains more of a promise than a platform — raising questions about whether the government rushed to claim a digital reform that’s yet to go live.
