CM Revanth calls Group-2 Officers to build $3T Telangana

Chief Minister Revanth Anumula on Saturday addressed newly selected Group-2 officers in a ceremonial event held at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad, where appointment letters were handed over to 783 candidates. The event was organized as part of what the Telangana government termed the “Festival of Jobs in People’s Governance.”

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Mallu, Minister Ponnam, government advisors, and senior officials, including the Telangana Chief Secretary, were present at the event.

During his address, the Chief Minister congratulated the candidates and their families on the milestone, emphasizing the responsibilities of government service. He encouraged the officers to work diligently for the development of the state, highlighting the government’s broader vision for Telangana, including its long-term economic and social goals.

The CM also referenced the sequence of results for Group-1, Group-2, Group-3, and Group-4 recruitment, explaining that Group-1 results were announced first to avoid overlapping vacancies and opportunities.

The government highlighted its achievements in employment, noting that 60,000 jobs were filled in the first year of the current administration. Other initiatives mentioned included steps toward SC classification reforms and completion of a caste census, though the details were part of the government’s official announcements.

The event coincided with the Diwali festival, allowing the government to combine the ceremonial distribution of appointment letters with seasonal celebrations. The CM used the occasion to urge officers to serve the community and maintain professional vigilance in their official duties.
