CM Revanth announces 40,000 new government jobs soon

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced key initiatives and development plans during a large public gathering in Husnabad as part of the “People’s Governance, People’s Victory” celebrations. He stated that the government is planning to fill another 40,000 government jobs soon, aiming to complete a total of 100,000 recruitments within two and a half years since the government took office.

During the event, CM Revanth laid the foundation for several development projects in Husnabad and highlighted the welfare and infrastructure programs implemented over the past two years. He emphasized that the government is committed to the comprehensive development of Husnabad. Specifically, he assured that work on the neglected Gouralli Reservoir, which has caused water shortages for over a decade, will be completed to provide a permanent solution. He also recalled Husnabad’s historical importance under the leadership of Sardar Papanna Goud, who laid the foundations of people’s governance in the region.

The Chief Minister paid tribute to Srikath Chary, a martyr of the Telangana statehood movement, whose sacrifice on December 3 inspired the state’s formation with support from UP Chairperson Sonia Gandhi. CM Revanth noted that within the first year of the government, 60,000 government jobs were filled as part of realizing the aspirations of people like Srikanth Chary.

He also outlined the government’s comprehensive development plans for the state’s future. He highlighted that schemes such as loan waivers and farmer support programs have already utilized ₹1.04 lakh crore. Additionally, he mentioned initiatives benefiting women, including free RTC bus travel, free electricity for up to 200 units, solar power support for women’s groups, distribution of new ration cards, and construction of 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses. CM Revanth reaffirmed that his government remains committed to being a people-centered administration that fulfills citizens’ expectations. Ministers Tummala Nageswara Rao, Ponnam Prabhakar, Vemula Venkateswara Rao, and Adaluri Lakshman, along with several representatives from the combined Karimnagar district, attended the event.

As part of the celebrations, CM Revanth laid the foundation for development projects worth ₹262.78 crore in Husnabad. The major projects include the construction of an Engineering College (₹44.12 crore) and an Advanced Training Center to enhance regional transport and skill development opportunities (₹45.15 crore). Various urban development works in Husnabad Municipality (₹20 crore) and a new RTA office to improve transport services (₹8.6 crore) were also inaugurated.

To improve road connectivity, the CM also inaugurated two major road projects: a four-lane road under the Husnabad Urban, Kothapalli Package-1 (₹86 crore) and a four-lane Husnabad-Akkannapet road (₹58.91 crore). These projects are expected to significantly advance education, transport, and urban infrastructure in Husnabad.
