CM Dhami hands over appointment letters to new officers
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday distributed appointment letters to newly selected Assistant Review Officers and Review Officers of the Revenue Council at the camp office in the Chief Minister’s residence. Extending heartfelt congratulations, he said receiving appointment letters just before Diwali is a moment of special joy for the appointees and their families.
Highlighting the state government’s achievements, CM Dhami said that over the past four years, more than 26,500 youths have been provided government jobs. He added that the recruitment process is being advanced continuously as a mission, with transparency and merit as its guiding principles.
Referring to a recent incident in Haridwar related to a recruitment examination, the Chief Minister said prompt action was taken, the accused was arrested, and a Special Investigation Team inquiry was constituted. To address students’ concerns, he personally met them, cancelled the examination, and recommended a CBI investigation.
CM Dhami urged the new appointees to see government service as public service, stressing dedication, honesty, and transparency. He emphasised that administrative processes should be simple and efficient to ensure timely delivery of services to the public. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparent recruitment and strengthening public administration.
