CM Chandrababu Seeks Global Investments Through CII Partnership Summit
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reviewed preparations for the 31st CII Partnership Summit 2026, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13, and stressed the need to position the state as a preferred destination for global investments.
The summit, themed ‘Navigating New World Order: Trade, Technology, Trust’, is expected to bring together representatives from 59 countries, including 15 foreign ministers. The event will provide a platform for policymakers, investors, industry leaders, educational institutions and start-ups to explore opportunities for international collaboration.
During the review meeting, Chandrababu discussed the key subjects to be taken up at the summit and the declarations expected to be announced with senior officials and representatives of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
He emphasised that the discussions should go beyond exchanging ideas and translate into concrete business and technological partnerships. Connecting industries in Andhra Pradesh with global markets and creating new business opportunities for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) should be among the summit's primary objectives, he said.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to highlight the state's investment potential in green energy, technology and semiconductor manufacturing. He asked them to showcase Andhra Pradesh's advantages, including investor-friendly policies, skilled professionals, infrastructure facilities, technological expertise and strong leadership.
Stressing the importance of building investor confidence, Chandrababu said industrialists should be assured that investing in Andhra Pradesh is safe and hassle-free. The state should effectively communicate its strengths and create an environment that encourages businesses to explore long-term investment opportunities.
The summit is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh's engagement with international investors and open new avenues for industrial growth, technological cooperation and business expansion.
Senior government officials, CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee and other CII representatives attended the review meeting.
