
CM Chandrababu Naidu named ‘Business Reformer of the Year’
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been honored with the prestigious ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ award by the leading financial daily, The Economic Times. The recognition comes in acknowledgment of his efforts to implement business-friendly policies, promote industrial reforms, and attract large-scale investments to the state.
The award will be formally presented to CM Chandrababu in a special ceremony scheduled for March, where Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will personally confer the honor.
The selection was made by a high-profile jury comprising prominent industrialists, economists, and legal experts. Notable members included Bharti Group Chairman Sunil Bharti Mittal, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Kotak Mahindra Bank founder Uday Kotak, Narayana Health founder Dr. Devi Shetty, senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi, and Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata. Deloitte served as an advisory partner to the jury.
In the past, the award has been presented to eminent personalities such as Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw (2024), S. Jaishankar (2023), Nirmala Sitharaman (2021), former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis (2019), former Union Minister Arun Jaitley (2017), and Piyush Goyal (2015).
Following the announcement, several dignitaries and ministers congratulated CM Chandrababu, praising his initiatives to attract further investments and highlighting that his efforts have earned national recognition.
