CM Chandrababu Naidu Honoured with ‘Business Reformer of the Year’ Award

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has been chosen for a prestigious national recognition for his contributions to governance reforms and administrative transparency . A leading media house has selected him for the “Business Reformer of the Year” award , acknowledging the innovative policies introduced under his leadership.

The award will be presented at a special ceremony in Mumbai on Friday evening, where Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will honour the Chief Minister.

Recognition for governance reforms

The selection committee highlighted the state’s key initiatives aimed at boosting investment and improving service delivery . Among them are the “Speed of Doing Business” initiative to create a more investor-friendly environment, and the “Speed of Delivering Governance” framework designed to ensure quicker and more efficient public services.

The panel appreciated the Chief Minister’s emphasis on integrating technology with governance, which has helped improve both efficiency and accountability in administration. According to the committee, these reforms have not only strengthened the industrial climate in Andhra Pradesh but also enhanced the state’s reputation at the national level.

As part of his official visit, Naidu will leave Amaravati at 1:00 PM on Friday by special flight and is expected to arrive in Mumbai by 3:00 PM. He will reach the event venue by 5:30 PM, and the award will be presented to him at 9:30 PM on the main stage.

Significantly, the award has previously been conferred on several prominent national leaders, including former Union Minister Arun Jaitley , Piyush Goyal , Nitish Kumar , Ashwini Vaishnaw , and S. Jaishankar . His inclusion in this list is being seen as national recognition of his efforts in strengthening digital governance and driving industrial growth in post-bifurcation Andhra Pradesh.
