Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to embark on a two-day visit to New Delhi, where he will participate in a series of high-level meetings that could have significant political and developmental implications for the state. The visit includes the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners' meeting and the 11th NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting, both of which are expected to shape policy discussions at the national level.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, Naidu will leave from Gannavaram Airport on Wednesday morning and attend the NDA coalition meeting at Bharat Mandapam later in the day. The gathering will bring together senior leaders from alliance partners to deliberate on governance priorities, economic growth, welfare initiatives, and the coalition’s future roadmap.

As the chief of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) , a key constituent of the NDA government at the Centre, Chandrababu is expected to play an active role in discussions on national development strategies and Centre-State coordination. His participation comes at a time when Andhra Pradesh is seeking greater support for infrastructure expansion, industrial investments, and long-pending development projects.

The second day of the visit will see the Chief Minister attending the NITI Aayog Governing Council Meeting , chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi . The council serves as the apex platform for cooperation between the Union government and states, bringing together Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors to discuss policy priorities and developmental challenges.

The meeting is expected to focus on themes such as inclusive growth , infrastructure development , job creation , innovation , and strengthening the spirit of cooperative federalism . State governments will also have the opportunity to present their requirements and seek greater coordination with the Centre in implementing major projects.

For Andhra Pradesh, the meeting carries added significance. Chandrababu is likely to highlight issues related to the state's development agenda, including infrastructure funding, industrial corridors, investment promotion, and pending commitments linked to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act . The state government has repeatedly emphasized the need for enhanced central assistance to accelerate economic growth and improve connectivity.

Political observers note that the Delhi visit offers an important opportunity for Andhra Pradesh to press its case before national policymakers while reinforcing its role within the ruling NDA coalition. The outcomes of the discussions could influence future policy decisions and development initiatives impacting the state.

Following the conclusion of the NITI Aayog meeting on June 11, the Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Amaravati later in the evening.
