
CM Chandrababu Calls for Enhanced Services While Preserving Devotee Trust
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has emphasised that the primary objective of his government is to preserve the sanctity of the Tirumala shrine, the divine abode of Sri Venkateswara Swamy , while prioritising the sentiments of devotees.
On Saturday, the CM held an extensive review with senior officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at Annamayya Bhavan, Tirumala . Speaking at the meeting, he instructed officials to integrate cutting-edge technology to deliver services of the highest standards, ensuring that common devotees can have darshan in minimal time .
He underscored that the quality of Srivari Laddu Prasadam must never be compromised. Officials were advised to meticulously operate the state-of-the-art laboratory established for continuous quality checks of ghee and other raw materials used in the prasadam. The CM noted that during his interactions with devotees, they expressed satisfaction with the prasadam’s quality, and maintaining this trust remains the officials’ responsibility.
To address queues and reduce waiting time, he suggested the extensive use of AI technology .
Regarding healthcare, the CM stated that service to the poor is service to God . He directed that medical services at TTD-affiliated hospitals SVIMS, BIRRD, and SPCCH be further strengthened. Officials informed the CM that an additional ₹1 crore per month from the Pranadanam Trust is being allocated within the TTD budget for rare medical treatments.
On the annadanam front, the CM instructed that the programme, initiated during NTR’s tenure , be managed more efficiently. The distribution of annaprasadam, currently ongoing in 57 temples , will be expanded to four more major temples . He also advised utilising the services of Shrivari Sevakulu on Tirumala hill to their full potential across all departments.
In line with promoting Hindu dharma , the CM directed officials to construct around 5,000 new temples across the state with an estimated outlay of ₹750 crore . Proposals should also be prepared for grand temples in every state capital , modelled on the Tirumala Sri Venkateswara temple.
The review meeting was attended by Minister Anagani Satya Prasad , several public representatives, senior TTD officials, and the Tirupati District Collector and SP .
