CJI Justice Surya Kant to Tour Andhra Pradesh on March 1

Justice Surya Kant of the Supreme Court of India is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh on March 1 . According to official sources, he will take part in several official engagements in Krishna and Guntur districts. It is learnt that seven other judges are also likely to accompany him during the visit.

As per the itinerary, Justice Surya Kant will arrive at Gannavaram Airport on Saturday afternoon and proceed directly to Guntur district. During his stay, he will participate in various development-related programmes and is also expected to visit NTR House . After completing his engagements, he will return to Gannavaram Airport in the evening and depart for New Delhi the same day.

In view of the visit, Krishna District Collector DK Balaji has stepped up preparations. He reviewed the arrangements with officials concerning the reception and send-off at the airport. The Collector instructed authorities to ensure smooth movement of the judges’ convoy and strict adherence to protocol norms.

He also directed the police department to put in place adequate security measures to prevent any untoward incidents during the visit.
