
CJ Lisa Gill Opens Modern Ten-Court Complex In Rajamahendravaram
Another significant milestone in the history of the Andhra Pradesh judiciary was marked on Saturday as High Court Chief Justice Justice Lisa Gill inaugurated the newly constructed Ten Courts building complex in Rajamahendravaram of East Godavari district .
The government constructed the modern court complex with advanced facilities to bring judicial services closer to the people and address the growing number of cases.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by High Court judges Justice Battu Devanand, Justice R. Raghunandan Rao, Justice BVLN Chakravarthi, Justice Sumathi Jagadam, and Justice Nyapathy Vijay as distinguished guests. They expressed confidence that the new building would strengthen the judicial system and help expedite the legal process through improved infrastructure.
After cutting the ribbon and inaugurating the complex, the Chief Justice, along with the other judges, inspected the court halls, record rooms, and special sections established for the convenience of advocates.
East Godavari Principal District Judge Sunitha Gandham explained the technological features of the building, including the digital court facilities , to the dignitaries.
Officials stated that the operationalisation of the ten courts would help reduce delays in case hearings. Legal experts opined that the centralised court complex would significantly aid in the speedy disposal of pending cases across the district.
Several district judges, Bar Association representatives, and revenue officials participated in the programme.
