Chiranjeevi’s Mega158 Adds Murali Sharma, Action Shoot Underway

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mega158, directed by Bobby Kolli, has added another familiar face to its cast. On Murali Sharma’s birthday, the makers welcomed the actor to the team with an official post. His role is being kept secret for now, which has added to the buzz around the film.

Mega158 is an action entertainer and marks Chiranjeevi and Bobby’s second film together after Waltair Veerayya. The film was launched in Hyderabad in May, with Pawan Kalyan giving the first clap.

The team completed its first shooting schedule in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, and later moved to Hyderabad for the second schedule. Chiranjeevi has also been shooting a major action sequence. Reports said the star spent nearly 12 hours on a rain soaked action scene, showing his energy and commitment on set.

Murali Sharma’s addition is also special because this will be his third film with Chiranjeevi. The two earlier worked together in GodFather and Bhola Shankar. Sharma has also spoken warmly about Chiranjeevi, calling him “Annayya” and praising his simple nature.

Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj play important roles in the film. S Thaman is composing the music, while Vijay Karthik Kannan is handling the camera. Antony L Ruben is editing the film and Kolla Avinash is the production designer.
