Chennai Singams continued their impressive start to the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) T10 Season 3 , climbing to the top of the points table after a commanding 38-run victory over Falcon Risers Hyderabad here on Thursday.

Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Chennai Singams produced a dominant batting display, piling up a tournament-high 118/2 in 10 overs , the highest team total of ISPL Season 3 so far . Vice-captain Ketan Mhatre set the tone with an explosive knock, smashing 24 runs in the opening over and racing to the fastest fifty of the season , reaching the milestone in just 27 balls . He eventually fell for a scintillating 54 off 30 deliveries .

Opening partner Jagannath Sarkar provided solid support, scoring a fluent 37 off 26 balls , as the duo stitched together a formidable 86-run opening partnership . Useful late contributions ensured Chennai crossed the 100-run mark for the second time this season .

In reply, Falcon Risers Hyderabad struggled against Chennai’s disciplined bowling attack and were restricted to 80/7 in 10 overs . Anurag Sarshar struck early, while Jagannath Sarkar delivered a match-winning spell during the ISPL Swing Ball overs , returning figures of 3/13 . Skipper Ankur Singh , playing his first match of the season, bowled an economical ISPL 50-50 Challenge Over , conceding just seven runs and picking up a wicket.

Jagannath Sarkar was named Man of the Match for his all-round performance .

With this win, Chennai Singams moved to the top of the ISPL Season 3 points table with four points , gaining early momentum in the competition. The tightly contested league phase continues, with another crucial ISPL encounter scheduled on Saturday , as teams look to consolidate their positions in the standings and stay in contention for the playoffs.
