‘Center of Excellence’ college inaugurated in Hyderabad

In a significant step to improve the future of minority students in Telangana, the state government has upgraded the Erragadda Minority Residential Junior Girls’ College into a Center of Excellence (COE). The institution was inaugurated on Monday by Ministers Vivek Venkataswamy and Adluri Laxman Kumar.

Speaking at the event, the ministers emphasized that education is a powerful tool that helps individuals grow socially and achieve economic independence. They highlighted that Centers of Excellence like this would enable minority students to access high-quality education and top-level coaching, even if they come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The ministers also noted that such initiatives would help students build stability, self-respect, and better opportunities in their future.

What is a Center of Excellence? A Center of Excellence is designed to provide students with high-quality education and specialized training programs. It focuses on modern curricula, talent development, and advanced learning methods. Unlike regular schools, COEs offer coaching for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and Civil Services. Students also benefit from digital learning tools, project-based study, and mentoring by experts.

The primary goal of these COEs is to give minority students equal opportunities, prepare them for global competition, and involve them in the social and economic development of the community.
