
Ceigall India JV Wins ₹918 Crore Jaipur Metro Phase-II Contract
Infrastructure engineering and construction company Ceigall India Ltd on Sunday said its joint venture CIL–SAM India has secured a ₹918.04-crore contract from the Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (JMRCL) for metro expansion works under Phase-II.
According to the company, the project involves the design and construction of an elevated viaduct and ten elevated metro stations , excluding architectural finishing, covering a total stretch of 10.8 km .
The contract forms part of the Jaipur Metro Phase-II expansion , with an execution timeline of 34 months . The total bid value of the project is ₹918.04 crore, inclusive of 18 per cent GST , the company said in a statement.
The ten stations included under the package are Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate, and Pinjrapole Gaushala .
Under the joint venture structure, Ceigall India holds a 74 per cent stake , while the remaining 26 per cent is held by SAM India Builtwell Pvt Ltd .
Commenting on the development, Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman and Managing Director of Ceigall India , said the order marks an important milestone for the company as it expands beyond its traditional focus on highways and roads into urban mobility and metro infrastructure projects .
Ceigall India is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company engaged in the development of highways, expressways, bridges, flyovers, railway overbridges, tunnels, and runways .
The latest win strengthens the company’s growing presence in the urban infrastructure and metro rail segment .
