CBN to lead two-day NDA campaign blitz in Tamil Nadu from April 20
N. Chandrababu Naidu will embark on a two-day campaign tour in Tamil Nadu starting Monday, stepping up the National Democratic Alliance (NDA)’s outreach ahead of the upcoming state elections.
According to official sources, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s visit is aimed at energising party cadre, strengthening voter engagement and reinforcing the alliance’s development-focused narrative across key regions.
On the first day of the tour, Naidu will begin in Coimbatore, where he is scheduled to address a major public meeting. He will then travel to Hosur and proceed to Thalli for a public rally. Later in the evening, he will reach Chennai to participate in a roadshow in Avadi, engaging directly with voters and NDA supporters.
On April 21, the Chief Minister will visit Madurai before heading to Sattur, where he is expected to interact with community leaders and take part in a key campaign event. The tour will conclude later that evening.
Sources indicated that the NDA will emphasise governance, economic growth and inclusive development during the campaign, while seeking to expand its political footprint in Tamil Nadu, a state traditionally dominated by regional parties.
Naidu, a senior NDA leader, is expected to articulate the alliance’s broader vision for Tamil Nadu within India’s growth trajectory, highlighting development-oriented governance as a central theme of the campaign.
