Anticipation surrounding the much-awaited collaboration between Jr. NTR and filmmaker Prashanth Neel have intensified after the official NTRNeel social media handle teased a major reveal scheduled for May 20 , coinciding with the actor’s 43rd birthday.

The cryptic promotional posts, shared on Wednesday, quickly sparked excitement among fans across social media platforms. One of the images featured Neel standing alongside a bearded figure on a seaside pier, prompting speculation that it could be Jr. NTR’s first-look glimpse from the film.

The project, tentatively referred to as NTRNeel , was officially announced in 2021 and has since emerged as one of the most anticipated pan-India films in Indian cinema. The action entertainer is being directed by Prashanth Neel, best known for blockbuster franchises such as K.G.F: Chapter 1, K.G.F: Chapter 2 and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.

The film is jointly produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Shooting for the project reportedly began in August 2024, with large-scale action sequences and extensive production work currently underway.

While the makers have not officially disclosed the title or storyline, fan theories and online discussions continue to dominate social media. Several unverified reports suggest that the makers may unveil a title glimpse at midnight on May 19, with “Dragon” emerging as a speculated title among fans.

The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 11, 2027.
