BRS Set to Fly Its Flag Over Bhingal Municipality: Vemula Prashanth Reddy
The BRS party is the true focus of development for Bhingal Municipality in the Balkonda Assembly constituency. Former minister and MLA Vemula Prashanth Reddy urged party workers to work collectively and ensure victory for the municipality in the upcoming elections. Addressing a meeting of key town-level party workers in Bhingal, he highlighted the failures of the Congress government while explaining the development carried out during the BRS regime .
He said the recent sarpanch elections had clearly demonstrated the strength of the BRS party. Out of seven mandal headquarters, BRS won sarpanch posts in five mandals , he recalled. In this context, he asserted that BRS alone has the moral right to seek votes from the people in Bhingal Municipality.
Vemula Prashanth Reddy stated that development once considered impossible in Bhingal became a reality under the leadership of KCR and KTR . With special initiative from KTR, ₹35 crore was sanctioned in the first phase for road and drainage works. He added that an additional ₹15–20 crore was sanctioned for central lighting and divider construction. Under the Mission Bhagiratha scheme, drinking water was supplied to every household.
He recalled the construction of a 100-bed government hospital costing ₹35 crore and check dams on Kappala Vagu worth ₹15 crore. However, he alleged that the Congress government failed to execute works even with already sanctioned funds and did not clear bills for hospital and market works.
Criticising the failure to implement announced guarantees , he said this led to the perception of a “Congress dues card” among the public. He called upon party workers to defeat Congress and ensure a BRS victory in the upcoming municipal elections to continue Bhingal’s development.
