BRS on Brink of Downfall, Law to Take Its Course: Sam Ram Mohan Reddy
Telangana’s political arena witnessed heightened tensions as the phone tapping case continues to rattle both the ruling Congress and opposition BRS . The verbal showdown reached a new pitch on Friday , following the appearance of BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) before the SIT for questioning.
Responding sharply, TPCC Media and Communications Chairman Sam Ram Mohan Reddy accused the BRS of being on the verge of collapse and warned that those involved in illegal phone tapping would soon face imprisonment .
Reddy also took aim at KTR ’s comments during the investigation , sarcastically noting that KTR was summoned only as a witness , not as an accused . “Why fear the investigation if you have done nothing wrong? Political grandstanding while evading cooperation with the SIT is laughable,” he said.
Highlighting key details already coming to light, Reddy alleged that the involvement of K. Chandrashekar Rao, KTR, and Harish Rao in the phone tapping scandal during the previous BRS regime is evident. He added that the facts , as revealed in the press note released by CP Sajjanar , are already in the public domain , and no amount of storytelling by BRS leaders can shield them from the law . “The BRS’s misdeeds have caught up with them. The guilty will 100 percent face jail ,” he asserted.
“Today, the BRS stands on the brink of downfall . The illegal acts committed while in power are the reason. The investigation will uncover all truths , and those responsible will not escape justice ,” Reddy concluded.
