BRS MLA KP Vivekananda on Saturday criticised the Congress government’s “99-day Praja Palana progress report,” alleging it misrepresents the ground reality. Speaking at Telangana Bhavan, he claimed the government has fallen short in key areas of governance.

He raised concerns over the Indiramma housing scheme , alleging that ineligible beneficiaries were being prioritised over the poor. Citing an example, he said a beneficiary with financially stable family members was allotted a house, highlighting flaws in the selection process.

Vivekananda said the Praja Palana initiative lacked tangible outcomes, with little progress in pensions, housing, and resolution of local issues. Welfare schemes, he added, were not being effectively implemented.

Questioning the 99-day plan , he stated that it lacked adequate funding and a clear execution strategy. He also noted delays in fulfilling election promises.

Highlighting administrative concerns, he pointed to drinking water shortages , power disruptions, and issues in education and law enforcement. He remarked that governance challenges persisted despite key departments being under the Chief Minister.

He also condemned remarks made by MLC Kavitha against former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, stating that the public was closely observing such developments.
