BRS Announces ₹2.25 Crore Support for Late Former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s Family
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has decided to extend ₹2.25 crore in financial assistance to the family of late former Narsampet MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, who recently died following illness.
BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has decided to provide ₹1 crore each to Sudarshan Reddy’s two children, taking the total assistance for them to ₹2 crore. The amount is intended to support their future, education and overall welfare.
In addition, KCR has directed that ₹25 lakh be deposited in a bank account in the name of Sudarshan Reddy’s elderly mother, Amruthamma, to help meet her needs and ensure her well-being.
KCR said the decision was taken after discussions with senior party leaders and key BRS leaders from Warangal district. He assured the family that the party would continue to stand by them and provide support whenever required.
The BRS chief also reiterated that the party would remain committed to the welfare of Sudarshan Reddy’s family, particularly the children and his aged mother.
Meanwhile, KCR is scheduled to visit Nallabelli in the Narsampet Assembly constituency on August 9. During the visit, he will meet and console Peddi Sudarshan Reddy’s family and assure them of the party’s continued support.
KCR is also expected to meet BRS leaders, party workers and supporters of Sudarshan Reddy in the constituency. His visit is aimed at reassuring both the bereaved family and the local party cadre following the former MLA’s death.
