Border 2 teaser drops: Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh trio shine

The makers of Border 2 unveiled the much-awaited teaser of the war drama on the occasion of Vijay Diwas , offering audiences a powerful first glimpse into the film’s action, emotion, and patriotic fervour. Headlined by Sunny Deol , the film also stars Varun Dhawan , Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in key roles, marking a significant expansion of the iconic franchise.

The event also marked Sunny Deol’s first public appearance since the passing of his father, veteran actor Dharmendra, on November 24. Deol appeared emotional and teary-eyed while delivering one of the film’s iconic dialogues, “Awaaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?” prompting the audience to respond, “Lahore tak.” His dramatic entry driving a jeep, alongside co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, set the tone for the war drama and drew considerable attention from fans and the media.

Set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war , the teaser is packed with intense battlefield visuals, depicting the grit, bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers . Alongside the large-scale combat sequences, the teaser also hints at the emotional core of the film, touching upon love, family bonds and personal struggles unfolding amid the chaos of war. The teaser opens with a stirring voiceover by Sunny Deol, instantly setting the tone for the patriotic war drama , while Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty appear in gripping combat moments.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films, the film is slated for a theatrical release on January 23, 2026 .
