BJP Plans Mega Padayatra in Hyderabad with Amit Shah’s Participation
The BJP is making elaborate arrangements for a massive public march in Hyderabad on November 2, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah expected to participate. State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao has appealed to people and party workers to turn out in large numbers and make the programme a success.
The march, organised under the slogan ‘Let Us Protect Democracy – Drive Out Anarchy’, is expected to draw around one lakh people from across Hyderabad. The BJP leadership is mobilising its cadres and making preparations to ensure a large turnout for the event.
Addressing a preparatory meeting at the BJP state office, Ramchander Rao urged party leaders and workers to actively participate in the march and take the party's message to the public.
He alleged that the Congress was continuously targeting constitutional institutions and weakening the foundations of democracy. Accusing the ruling party of spreading misinformation, he called upon BJP cadres to expose what he described as Congress's false propaganda and effectively counter it among the people.
Ramchander Rao stressed the need to take the issues to the public and build awareness about the party's concerns over the functioning of democratic institutions.
Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, along with senior BJP leaders and party workers, attended the preparatory meeting. The party leadership is expecting a significant public response to the march, with Amit Shah's participation adding prominence to the programme.
The BJP has urged its supporters and Hyderabad residents to join the November 2 march in large numbers, presenting it as an effort to defend democratic values and oppose what it describes as attacks on constitutional institutions.
