BJP leaders have submitted a written complaint to the Director General of Police (DGP), demanding strict action against DSP Shivaram Reddy for allegedly assaulting the BJP district president during inspection visits as part of the Nalgonda Corporation elections .

BJP MLC Anjireddy, State Vice President Dr Kalyan Nayak, and Legal Cell Convenor Gokul Ramarao met DGP Shivadhar Reddy and handed over a memorandum.

In their complaint, the BJP leaders alleged that on February 11 , at the 10th Division polling station in Nalgonda , DSP Shivaram Reddy violated the law while on duty. They claimed that he allowed more than 150 bogus voters to enter the polling station and assisted in rigging . When BJP district president Nagam Varshith Reddy questioned this, the DSP allegedly behaved aggressively, physically assaulted him , and issued threats.

They further alleged that the officer acted in favour of the ruling party and influenced the electoral process.

The BJP leaders urged the DGP to immediately suspend the DSP and conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the alleged bogus voting on polling day, registering criminal cases against those found responsible. They said they are awaiting a response from the concerned authorities.
