Bigg Boss Fame Ashu Reddy Booked For Duping NRI In Rs 9.35 Crore ‘Marriage Scam’

Former Bigg Boss Telugu contestant and social media personality Ashu Reddy has landed in a major controversy after a Rs 9.35 crore cheating complaint was filed against her by the family of a London-based NRI software engineer. The case has quickly become a hot topic in Tollywood circles and across social media.

According to reports, the complaint was lodged with the Hyderabad Central Crime Station by Satyanarayana , a resident of Hyderabad, who alleged that his son Y. V. Dharmendra , a software engineer working in London, was cheated by Ashu Reddy under the promise of marriage . The complainant claimed that Dharmendra first met the actress during a visit to India in 2018 , after which the two allegedly developed a close relationship.

The complaint states that over the years Dharmendra allegedly spent huge amounts on luxury cars, flats and nearly five kilograms of gold , many of which were reportedly registered in Ashu Reddy’s name. The family claims that these financial transactions continued for several years and eventually amounted to around Rs 9.35 crore .

Investigators are also looking into claims that Ashu Reddy’s sister allegedly took about Rs 50 lakh from Dharmendra, which the complainant says was never returned. After the promised marriage allegedly did not materialize , the family approached the police seeking action.

Some reports also claim that the relationship went through multiple reconciliations and mediation attempts , including a meeting involving Tollywood actress Hema, where discussions about returning part of the money reportedly took place but did not resolve the dispute.

Responding to the controversy, Ashu Reddy has strongly denied the allegations and warned that she would take legal action against false or misleading reports circulating about her online.

Police officials have confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway , with authorities examining financial records and statements to determine the authenticity of the claims.
